Education, Technology and ELT

   Respected sir,
   
   Here are my views regarding this thinking activity. Thanks for giving this activity it is very fruitful and very thought provoking for me. I learn so many things from these various videos. All videos are Very helpful specially in ELT.

1) Changing Education paradigms – Sir Ken Robinson

Ken Robinson gave some innovative ideas to technology and education system under the title ‘ The changing Paradigm’. In which he discussed various ideas like Divergent Thinking and Collaborative learning . He did one research – Longitudinal test on various age group people like KG to 13-15 age groups and find their thinking capacity. Divergent thinking means to see lots of possibilities of positive answers to one question. Not linear way.

2) Build a school in the cloud by – Sugata Mitra

He explain his various experiments and wish in this video. He said that current learning practice in school came in before 300 years from British Empire . Now that empire gone they just creates clerk but still in education we did same thing we just focus on good hand writing , basic knowledge of Maths and know to read . Britishers did this because they wanted to do their works , but still we did it without any new thinking and creativity. So he said that no need of good handwriting and counting etc in the time of technology. He did beautiful experiments on slum children in Delhi like “Hall in wall” ( 1999) in which he stuck one computer in wall and notice that what students do and he did same thing at various places and he found that in a 9 months group of children left alone with a computer in any language they rich the same standard of the office sectors in the west. So by this he proved that not only reach children know that kind of knowledge if you provide this facilities of these slum children they also did well. Then he did one experiment of pronunciation in 2000 – 2005, then one experiment in Kalikuppam village in 2006 – 2013. He said that now not need to go to school and learn but he gave an idea of SOLE – self organized learning environment, learn any where . He gave the idea of granny cloud through skip. At last he said that three important things are Broadband + collaboration + Encouragement. He notice also that as per neuroscience punishments and examination creates the threats in the children and that’s why they can’t think creatively. His main wish is that self learning and build school in the cloud that is the real future of learning.

3) The future of learning by – Sugata Mitra

In this video he gave such a new path to taught students and criticized traditional teaching methods also that why and how this traditional class room constructed? , by whom? And he gave good things from printing press to today how education change. He said that in examination hall teacher allowed all tools and tables book of mathematics so why not allowed internet in examination hall. He also gave his observation that group activity is better than to learn alone. Provide some kind of atmospheres like talk freely, interact with each other and without any adult in class so they learn well. He pointed that we always think that young generation always texting and not study because of Mobil and other thing but he said I observed that through this kind of machine they not always texting and cheating but they search and learn more. So pedagogy needs to include to use internet. When teacher are friends schools can be forever. 

4) Reinvent education – Salman Khan

Main argument of his is made Global one world classroom. He share his experience in Ted talk that he started just made some simple videos of arithmetic for his cousin and just uploaded on YouTube and he get a lots of comments and likes so he decided to do this kind of works and he started work and established one Khan academy. He said that students can learnt better from the video rather than from books and teachers and use technology in classroom not taught just traditional way.

5) Digital Natives, Digital Immigrants by – Marc Prensky

In this Prensky states about two different groups of people with different title , Digital Natives means the use of technology Is readily available to the children born, the natives. And digital immigrants means those people who were not born in a time when technology was not readily available to use it. “ Our students have changed radically. Today’s students are no longer the people our educational system was designed to teach”. He said that new generations thoughts and think process are totally different from their predecessors. So he basically talked on this gap between digital native and immigrants in education . He distinguished two types of content : “legacy” and “future”. So Digital immigrants have to taught as per native students need not go back to the way they were up until now.

6) The Biggest challenges for Teachers - Davied Crystal

In this talk British linguists Davied Crystal talked on that which types of challenges teachers have to face in future, because language change so fast because of Internet and globalization. So teacher have to be ready because students know well through internet. In previous time it is hard generated more words but now if you find one word and put it on face book people know within 24 hours. He mainly focus on that don’t use and learn only one English for ex – British English. Because only 2% people know this. So try to learn various English like Australian , Indian and South African English through listening and writing comprehension. Know various dialects and languages also. Come out or forgot old notion like one kind of thing is correct English. Reach for different that’s the point about language change. Then he said that in world two major job are Translation and interpreting, second is Language teaching. And he focuses on teachers salary also that 4 time teachers salary should be increase and that point to be noted. At last he said that in compare to earlier job are easy to do because of internet and it is possible also. First you have to just give your time and Google it out that whom you want to teach and through various technology and Google you do well. Ex – you want teach south African students so no need to go there but teach through online.

7) The Effect on Technology on English.

In this video Davied talked on very interesting topic that technology always has influences language quite dramatically. He gave various examples also like printing, telephone and broadcasting theses all technology played very vital role to change the language. Now Internet is too young and internet also change the way of using language. For example we used various things like face book, Twitter, Blog etc in all form we write different way because twitter has some limit of 140 characters, in face book we can write long post, blog use as a web diary so all are different. Texting massage and twit and chatting are also different. So software with the technology makes you think in different way from what you are doing before. Every internet domain that you use domain with it influence in which you use language very specific way. Some people can’t except the changes of new language like Prof. Doom, he said printing is not good and great commentator John Humfring also said that these young people raping and destroying English language through internet. But it all rubbish thing. Because the language which is used in twitting is also a standard English. So we can say that changes in language is good because static things has no life .For ex – Sanskrit language. English language is a living stream. 

8) David Crystal on Texting

In this he gave his theory that “ Texting is good for the English language”. And it is very true also because now a days we also realized for doing the same thing. Because as per he said that texting is language. But some myth are also there that like it is used by kids, kids did spelling mistakes and etc. But that’s wrong. As per he proved through his theory that literacy is important, learning to read and write and best way to learning is read and write is practice and these various practice provide through technology well, because through texting more you read and more you write the better. So mobile phone is better for good literacy.

I am agree with all four points which are presented in this documents, because as a student of English literature I also felt the same things. 1) It saves you time – yes, because when we study literature we live more than one life in a one life. Because we felt various characters from various gropes, age and culture. In reality we can’t do, but through reading it’s possible. 2) It makes you Nicer – Through the study of literature we became more nicer and mature , because as human being we have many badness but through it can be change. 3) It’s A cure for Loneliness – It’s about that how during reading literature we know ourselves, try to connect our experience of inner lives. For ex – ‘To the Lighthouse’ in which I am felt very closed with the character of Lily Brisco.4) It prepares you for failure – Because from the story of failure we learn something and improve our self, for ex – One Night @ call center in which

through the mouthpiece of God Chaten Bhagat gave some message that how to came out from failure. (Popova)

In this Aravind Adiga talked his own experience that how his test of reading English literature is changed at various points. I also felt same things that when I am in school at that time which things I read and now in M.A how the level of reading and the choice of reading is cheang. (Adiga)

I am not agree with that point that student of English Course have no jobs, because in Arts and specially in 21st century English is need for all filed. It is very vast and deep subject and through literature we can learn various ism and theory also .Ex – Existentialism. (Krishna)

( 5 ) IIT dropout B.A. English syllabus equally uninteresting by Pagal Patrakar

It is reality because some students study B.A. with interest but many student choice this course just side course with doing job or preparing other exams or just time pass. So the image of B.A. course is not well present because study is not only purpose. Here Manoj IIT student share his experience of six months studying in B.A. that why he choose this course but after some time he realized that for him IIT is better than B.A., because reading literature and write something and achieving praise from other is different and study literature is also different one because during study we have to learn criticizes as well and it is not just 2+2 = 4. As a student of literature you have to knowledge of all other subject also because in between you have to deal with that subject, for ex with Philosophy, History, Psychology, science, Geography etc. (Patrkar)

( 6 ) Life at Delhi University 5 things every English Honours students goes through in college.

Yes, this course change my personality completely even my thoughts also. My choice and interest are also change. My festivals have changed this point like most because it is my personal experience that since last two years my brother gave books on Rakhi, so it’s nice for me so I like these change . (1712)

Can technology replace teacher ?

Here I present my views regarding this thinking activity –

                   “ Can technology replace teacher ?”

In 21st century In an imaginable way our lives are going to change because we used technology in all the fields like Science , Business, Agricultural, medical etc, so here many questions also raised like that,

1) Where human are replaced by technology?

2) Is it happened that many significant spaces which are encroached by technology?

3) Technology replaced human?

4) Can a Robot join the faith? 

So, here we can easily understand that 200 years ago , in 1818 Mary Shelley’s imaginative novel Frankenstein, that how these all are really happened this time. She made monsters and now we can find Robot, that how they do all human works well and that’s why we are worried abut joblessness . because of technology and machine. So the best option is that Be ready , and start learning and acquiring those skills which technologies are incapable of doing, because ultimately technology is also made by human being. So using more technology in positive way we rich at one level so we can say that technology replaced human. Without it we can’t exist.

But when we talk on same point in education that can technology replace teacher? At that time I as a learner and as a future teacher think that, it is good that technology should be replaced on the place of teacher. Because technology taught better than human and very true also without any problems which we find in traditional teaching mode. We find various online coaching for ex - like BYJU, Coursera etc. And that type of platforms provide self organizes learning environment - But still as student I thought that we need one teacher or guide at one level to proper understanding and for problem solving. For ex – 1) when I join coursera I realized that it is good to learn without teacher own your own through videos and online materials and I got pass result also but during this I observed that this learning is very difficult without real teacher and their guidance and instruction specially in India. Because we are habituated to learn from teacher and that’s why very less people complete this course successfully. 

Second thing is that recently when we worked on language lab at that time also software not work well after so many hard work to start it and also we had to take help of our teacher Poojaba madam for guidance. so we realized that role of teacher as a guide , mentor is very important. 

So, at the end I think that ICT Literacy is very important but we came to know and specially learn when some present first before us. Foe ex – Recently government provide tablets to students but for use as a educational purpose first they have to need one teacher to introduced this new technology for education purpose, that how and why it is helpful in study. I felt that I am very lucky because I am studying under the guidance of Prof. Dilip Barad , because sir taught well literature and how to use ICT in the process of learning. And that's why I came to know such new technologies. And for that I am very thankful to Barad sir.

Journey of learning

Here I would like to express my personal experience of learning in M.A. in department of English M.K. Bhavnagar University.


Here I would like to thanks my teachers, first Mahesh Andhariya who suggest right direction in the field of Arts. Because after studying five years English literature I learnt a lot and I personally enjoyed also. Then Dr. Vishal Pandya who always provide fruitful guidance and important of literature in B.A. Then I successfully reach in M.A.

When I am in Sem- 1 at that time I felt that learn literature with digital platform was very hard for me. Because before M.A. I never worked on laptop and Mobile especially for educational purpose. But during sem - 1 dealing with all these tools I gained the knowledge of it. In this process my seniors and friends help a lot, specially my senior friend Vaidehi Hariyani.

During the master I learnt that just give final exam and the result or marks is not only important, but the process of learning in whole semester is worth. we did various other things also like online task, online unit test, online discussion, quiz, presentations, assignments, conferences, seminars, guest lectures, internal test etc. so the process of learning became very interesting and informative. 

I also learned so many things from my teacher Prof. Dilip Barad that in any situation never give any accuses find new way to complete it, always ready with plan B, and most important are that do hard work and question everything and learnt how to argue. Main thing which I learnt in my master is use of technology and various digital skills on various platform of social Media likes FB, Twitter, Gmail, G+, Instagram, Goggle drive ,You tube, Google Calendar, slide share, Blogger, Coursera, Flipped Learning, Google classroom etc for educational purpose. 

In master to read articles and journal is also very important thing, so for that Barad sir always provide some good information about various sites and platform like JStore article and etc, and I learnt that how to do research work and how to do citation and annoted bibliography etc.

In sem -3 I did two new things first I joined Coursera and I successfully completed this online course on Philosophy, Science and Religion. For that I am inspired from my senior friend Yesha Bhatt and she provided good guidance also during the course. And second is I gave GSET exam first time and it was such good learning experience. 

                                   'Connects the dots'

In sem – 4 the main and important learning is Digital Portfolio, in which we will link our personal blogs, certificates, personal information, our creativity, achievements etc. At the end of Master we have our own websites. 

Learning literature with the use of technology is significance and that’s why I realized that how technology facilitates to students. In which this learning process we find ‘ Decentring the center’ means student and learning at the center and teacher came into periphery. We learnt divergent thinking. Because the 21st century is an era of knowledge and information.

               'Change is the end result of all true learning'

After learning these all I found some changes in myself and that is the real learning, so for that I would like to thanks for all my teachers , specially Pro. Dilip Barad, Patrh Bhatt, Poojaba Jadeja, Milan Parmar who taught me well. Special thanks to Department of English, MKBU for providing laptop bank and Net in the journey of two years.

John Donne’s song ‘s with the title sweetest love I do not go deals with of love. The poet is addressed by the lover to his beloved it present before us the scene of parting between the lover and his beloved.

The song opens with the lovers request to his beloved that he is going away from her not because he is tired of her or because of hope that he will be able to find out a better companion for himself. He tries to convince her that at last parting is bound to be there and so he would prefer an artificial parting by death and not real parting by death and not real parting by forgetting her forever. The lover is firm in his belief that death cannot cause parting between him and his beloved. The lover gives an example of the sun. The sun which last night went away comes back today morning though that sun has neither desire nor sense to come back. Comparing himself with the sun, the lover mention but he has both desire and sense and so he would comeback at the earliest just like that sun. His path is shorter than of the sun and he would make a speedy journey to come back to his beloved. His wings are his desire to meet her again and so he would come back.

In the next stanza the lover speaks about how helpless mankind is. Thought mankind considers himself very powerful, he cannot add one hour more to his happy days of life. Equally week is that is cannot bring back a happy time which has already gone from his life. At the most man can remembered that happy past. The lover would like to be morally supported by his beloved in fighting out this parting between him and her.

The lover makes and humble request to his beloved not to sigh and weep because when she sighs and weeps, his soul and blood which are in the beloved, come out. If she truly loves him, her sighs and tears must stop because she has no right to waste his soul and blood.

The concluding stanza of the poem is the lovers request to his beloved. She should not think anything sad or bad because destiny plays it’s role. So far they leaved together and after death they would sleeps side by side in their graves. The lovers wants to assure her that nothing can cause parting between him and his beloved.

The Dream

The poem by John Donne is a poem about the theme of Love. The central idea of this poem is that love in fantasy, in dream is more perfect and fulfilled then love in reality. Love in reality makes both the person aware of differences and the happiness disappears. In the world of fantasy the beloved is as per the desire of lover, without differences and so the lover enjoys that dream more then the real company of his beloved.

The first stanza of the poem is makes clear that her impression is carved on his hart. And it gives good value to his hart. The lover gives the example of the king and coin. The way king’s image gives value to the coined, her image on his hart gives value to his hart. The lover believes that his heart has grown so great and so good because of her image that now he can not keep it. It is a medal which he would like to give to her.

It is in the second stanza that the lover confess his greater happiness after she is gone. After she is gone the lover can experience her presents in his fantasy and that dream gives him more joy than her real presence. It is during this fantasy that the lover can escape for his pain because the pain is real.

The lover knows that after remaining in dream, he will have to come back to the world of reality. But he would not repent for remaining in the dream because that dream gives him better joy then the world of reality. The lover knows truth of life,

              “ Alas, true joys at best are dream enough;”

This line of the lover expresses two meaning, the first meaning is that true joy is only dream. The second meaning is that a person can experience true joy only in a dream. The love finds her presents not so much enjoying as he finds her absence enjoying. The lover would like to be a mad person with a heart filed with a her love. He does not want to be an ideate without heart and her love.

The overall idea of this poem is that joy in reality is different from joy in dream, fantasy. The lover prefers fantasy to her presence for the real joy of love.

The poem ‘ To his coy mistress’ is written by Andrew Marvell. Who was the son of clergyman. He was a metaphysical poem and he most of the poet focuses more on love and God, this poem ‘To his Coy Mistress’ is also about love and shyness of the be love.

The poet starts with the coyness of beloved saying that if both the lover had enough time beloved coyness was no crime but hence beloved is so shy that her shyness is like a crime her shyness has become a crime because they have very less time left and if they have enough time they could think over how to pass their ‘ long love’s day’.

In the next few lines the poet refers about ‘Indian Ganges and Humber which is in England through this poet want to say that when ever both the lover meet some where there was always a distance because of beloved coyness and a refusal to give her self to him stays long and ‘till the conversation of the Jews’ her refusal to surrender her self.

The poet starts next lines by comparing his love to vegetable. His love is like a vegetable which grows day by day vaster then empires then poet starts praising each poet of beloved’s body she was so beautiful and adorable that the lover would happily passed 100 years to prais beloved eyes and also gazing on the forehead of the beloved. He would spent two hundred years to prais his beloved’s each breast still he requires thirty thousand years to praise rest of the part of her body and when death was about to come the beloved might leave her coyness and show her love.

Beloved is indeed shy but whatever lover said regarding the years to prays s out of pure love. More then that belove deserves this typ of love and poet says that he would not love her lower then this his love should always vaster then empire there fore the poet says,

  ‘for lady, you deserve this satste nor would I love at lower rate’.

Next line refer to the short time which is passing poet hears sound of “times winged chariot” which is hurrying near which mean the time is passing very fast.

In the next line the poet explains what would happen if the beloved dies without having physical relation with the lover.

If the beloved shall continue her coyness like these then one day when the date will arrive her beauty will be not more as well as the echoing song also wond be then once she is dead. The beloved is not coy and threr for she is not allowing the lover come close to her and there for poet says once she is dead the worms will eat her long preserved virginity and there for before it happens she should have physical relation with the lover because after the death if they wont have physical relation the lust of the lover will tern into ashes there for beloved should stop be very shy.

Then the poet compares youth with ‘Morning dew’. The way morning dew drops on the skill and goes out of that within few time in the same way youth also stays for a while only and there for before the lovers get pray by the time or by the society lover wants his beloved to surrender her self and enjoy to gather.

In the last line the the poet uses two line in the end of the poem that are

                ‘ Thus through we can not make our sun,

                    Stand still, yet we will make him run’.

Here the poet says it is not in over hend to stop the sun but if we can’t stop it we have to change with the time which means before the time graps them in to it’s clutches. She should stop being shy and with. All her willingness she should enjoyed the plasuers or being to gather further the poet says it takes a lot to passed the journey of life as it is defeecult but with the time they have they should collect sweetness they should strive hard to be to gather.

“ when we two parted” is a poem written by Lord Byron. Who is successful Politician and well known poet. He born in England. He became very successful not only in his political career but also in his literary career. He died at the age of 36. Though he died in early age of his life he made most of it.

Lord Byron has written the poem “ when we two parted” expresses to lovers beloved. He narrates the sorrow and felling of parting in this poem. In the few lines the poet expresses the situation. How they parted and there for the poet says,

                “ when we two parted in silence and tears”.

The poet expresses that fail when his beloved was about leave lover none of them good utter a single word and the situation became invariably as they were parting from each other not only for days one or two but “ for years”.

After that the poet blames the hour when the lover and beware to gather as that happy hour it self for told it the separation that both the lover has to face in the future.

Then the poet talks about ‘ dew of morning’ which he fall like the warning bell as the poet things that whatever the lover is feeling now sorrowful situation the morning dew already had warned him for what is going to happen these feeling going to happen these feeling has very well present in poem.

Further in the poem, Byron talks about vows that are broken which indicate that beloved of the lover is no more with him. And that she has broken all her promises which she gives once and now she is not there in his life to keep her promises. Then the poet talks about be loves fame which is now not that much and has become light. The poet can hear name of the beloved spoken by relatives and friends then the poet also says that when he was heavy relationship they must had physical relationship which has now become there shame they loved is no more and therefore that time that they spent make them fill shameful.

When people around the lover take name of his beloved it’s feels like “Knell” to this ear. The poet further regrets why his beloved was so tear to him. He tells to people that,

           “ They know not I knew thee who knew thee too well”

Which means poet not only her but he could understand every emotion felt by his beloved and now when she is not with him. He regrets why he loved her so much, and it becoming unbearable situation of separation for him.

In the last few lines of the poem the poet expresses his grieve on their me and he calls the spirit of his believe it deceived as her heart can forgot whatever quality time they spent with each other secretly and after long years when the poet would be meeting his beloved how should he would greet her when both of them parted they only had silence to expresses and tears to share and after long time when they would meet there mean to expresses filing would be again ‘ Silence and tears’ which is beautifully written in the last few lines of the poem.

“ After long years

How should I greet thee?

With silence and tears”.

John Donne is equally known for his holly sonnets as his known for his love poem. His holy sonnets deal with serious theme and Issus related to human existence. The present sonnet of Donne deals with the theme of death. Generally every human beings afraid of death but the poet hear presents the picture of death in all to gather different way the attempt of the poem is to reduce fear of death and to convince the readers that death is a normal incident of life just like any other incident in life.

The sonnet opens with the poet’s address to the death that there is no need for death to be proud. Some people considered death powerful and dreadful but the poet considered in neither mighty nor dangerous. The poet challenges death saying that it can not kill him. Truly speaking those people do not die whom death thinks that it has killed. The poet believed that the picture of death is nothing but rest and sleep. If death provides rest and sleep, pleasure is to be derived out of it.

The poet opines that one need not be afraid of death because even the beast of people have sooner or later died. To poet death is nothing except rest to body and soul going to in new body. The poet considered death slave of fate, chance, kings and desperate men the mining is a person dies only when fate decides. Or chans decides is death. Sometimes a person dies only when king decides his death as a punishment, sometime death has to come when a men in distress invites death – suicide. The poet mention that there are three places where death lives in poison, war and sickness. In other words death comes to end individual because of such reasons. The poet does a comparison between sleep caused by death caused by charms of the mother, he believes that sleep caused by mothers charms his more enjoyable than the sleep caused by death because it’s comes like a sudden stroke there is no need for death to be proud, because death s just a small sleep and after that sleep a person gets a new form, new life, to live form a long time . the poet concludes this sonnet with a statement that death will be no more death it self will die.

The Flea

The Flea is a remarkable metaphysical poem of John Donne. He makes use of a biological image of the flea for the expression of the theme of love. It is an exceptional image to deal with the theme of love Done avoids the use of traditional images and brings the image of the flea to deal with love the poem is addressed by the lover of his beloved the lover expresses love, proposes to her and she refuses it because of her sense of sin, shame and maidenhood. She does not respond to her lover because she considered it a matter of sin and shame it is because of her refusal that the lover gives example of the flea, the flea has first suck his blood, now it’s sucks her blood, so their bloods have mingled in that flea it is neither sin nor shame. The lover tries to convince her that they are more then married in the living walls of that flea, that flea is now their marriage bed and marriage church.

Listening to such a speech of the lover, the lady tries to killed that flea and again the lover trays to convince her not to killed that flea he request her not to make her nails purpled in the blood of that flea the reason is, it will be a sin of killing three lives – life of that flea, life of the lover and killing herself. The lover wants her not to commit it dangerous sin of self murder she does not followed the request of that lover and kills the flea.

The third stanza of the poem is given to the lovers attempt to convince her that all her fears are ground less, both because one in that flea and yet it was not a sin or shame, the same way if she accepts his proposal, it will not be sin or shame. The lover is of the opinion that by accepting his proposal, she will bring honor to herself. The lover wants’ her to realized that accepting proposal is not the lost of honor on the contrary it brings honor to a woman, so she should part with her fear, sense of sin and shame.

Youngster's views about marriage

                                 Hello everyone this is the time of marriage season , most of all people are busy into the enjoy the weddings. But many youngsters like me try to avoid to attend various function likes marriages ,  gatherings  etc specially of relatives, because in friends’ function we have no problems. So it is not means that youngsters don’t like to marry and don’t like their relatives but the main problem is that in these type of functions all relatives ask same question “ Sadi kab ker rahe ho”? so recently I fond one video on FB which is shared by my friend komal  which is very interesting. This video is about sarcastic remarks on Dear Relatives and society.

This poem ‘Prayer Before Birth’ is about a child who prays to God he is now in the womb of the mother, before falling the world he pray to God that protect him from every bad thing. He pray God in different thing.

In the first lines of the first stanza the unborn child says “ Hear me, I am not yet born’.

In the first stanza unborn child prays to God and also complying about such thing which how present in the world. He express his fear about ‘ Blood sulking Bat’ and he says that some time that ‘chores’ it’s outer appearance is danger and also his acts and behaviors also dangerous.

In the second stanza he consoles God and express his fear about ‘ Tall walls’ it’s considered the strong rules and regulation of the society. Which stand as a wall between people and also from ‘wise lies’ which is spoken by cruel persons.

In the third stanza he prays God to provide him water to purify his sins, grass, grow for him, tree talk with him, sky guide him and sing for him and also the birds and light.

In the forth stanza he ask ‘ forgiveness’ for his sins. And also for his bad words and thoughts and ask forgive for what will happened because of him.

In fifth stanza he prays God ‘ To rehears’ him about parts that he has to play and action the ‘Lectures’ of elder people to because moral person. Officer person hector him and when ‘Desert calls him a doom, Beggar refuses his gift and when his children curse him’.

In the next stanza he talks about the people who become god ‘ who is a beast’ because he trying to replaced the god which thing impossible. So he prays to save me from those people.

In the next stanza he ask god for give me strength to face those people whose humanity is freeze. And also whose people who drag me badly and also those who are corrupt people.

So in this poem the unborn child prays to god about his present and future. He don’t want to corrupt his soul, he don’t to some people around her with negative views.

Thus this poem reflect the picture of the present corrupted world and nature of the people who effected on this unborn child.

This poem ‘ Ode on solitude’ wrote when Pope was 12 years old. This poem sets in very peace mood and relaxed to use make calm. This poem about the solitude life of man.

‘Ode on solitude’ by Alexcander Pope. Initially in the poem the poet talks about the lonely life of farmer. We generally believed that the life of farmer is unfortunate one because he has to live in the far away. But Pope thinks that farmer’s life is fortunate one because he get the chance to breath in the “Native air” and opportunity to live in “Mother land”.

The same emphasis that how lucky farmers are that in second stanza that farmers get to eat bread from his own field “ flocks supply farmers attire in summer, when sunlight an noises by his heat, the treed of farm give shade to farmers. 

Especially society people beloved that solitude life is curse but Pope thinks that solitude life is a “bliss”. He emphasis in third stanza that a farmer can take the pressures of pure air and food, he can stay close to nature which provides him peace to mind. But we people Struggle a lot to earn bread and survive in modern life. People of city struggle a lot yet they do not get to end and drink healthy food and water.

While people who close to nature especially farmers can get the ‘sound sleep’ most important is they do not loss there innocence to contrast with people who became very much practical without innocence and emotions. The poet considered solitude life with the bliss that people who live this type of life do not have to care about what society think for him. They do not need to follow any tradition like rituals set by society. They only care for themselves and can live happy, satisfied and careless close to nature life.

Therefore in the last lines that poet urges to god that late him leave

‘Unseen and unknown’
‘Thus unlamented let me die
Steal from the world and not a stone
Tell where I lie’

In these above lines the poet talks about the way that man live solitude life that also at the end of the life they wanted the death which is unknown from the society.
