Review on movie Sardar

This movie by KETAN MEHTA. It's National award winning film. It is a 1993 Indian Biopic on Sardar Valabhabhai Patel, one of India's greatest freedom fighters. This movie written by noted playwright Vijay Tendulkar. Sardar patel known as ' THE IRON MAN OF INDIA', and Sardar Vallbhbhai Patel a forgotten figure of India's independence struggle. In this movie all character played vital role like Annu Kapoor as Gandhi, Benjamin Gilani as Nehru, Sri Vallabh Vyas as Mohammad Ali Jinnah and H.M. Patel himself in the movie and Paresh Rawal as Sardar Patel his performance is larger than life.
This movie covers the biography of Sardar and all political issues during India's independence hours of 1945-1948, like Kheda struggle, Bardoli satyagrha, and the Zinnah wanted new Pakistan and how Sardar mange this point beautifully and also some problem about Kashmir, Hydrabad and Junagadh.
In this movie we show that how newes paper played good role as an evidence of that time. And the people's struggle for AZADI and the new way of the message with women's song for freedom. Dressing is very good for all characters. All people have strong hope for azadi. And good understanding between Neharu and sardar because it's very tough to handle people during the azadi. But Sardar handle verywell. Woman also participated in satyagrah. And we show the political party named congress during that time.
We also find the symbol of three monkey and picture of India's map as bound by Britishers. and male dominant society, luxurious life of leaders.
This movie is a must see to get an idea of what our great leaders sacrificed at the end of their lief for independent India, not only leaders but the people of that time also. now we In-dependent but not Independent because still we not have freedom, specially in the case of woman in India. Because freedom is important for all humanbeing.
